$10 Million Sought for New Haven Harbor Dredging

New Haven Register: U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-3, in a bid to get the U.S. government to include $10 million for New Haven Harbor dredging in President Obama’s fiscal 2014 budget, said the pressing need to maintain the harbor channel has been heightened by hurricanes Irene and Sandy.

In a letter, DeLauro urged the Office of Management and Budget and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to include funding for New Haven harbor maintenance in next year’s budget.
