2 Rescued After Boat Sinks in Stamford Harbor

Stamford411: Stamford Marine police rescued 2 men stranded on the Stamford Harbor’s east breakwall Monday afternoon [October 7] after their fishing boat sank.
Sgt. Robert Monck said the 2 men were marooned on the breakwall for about 45 minutes while powerful waves crashed on the wall pushed along strong southern winds. The 2 were brought to the Gardella Marina on the West Branch of the harbor where an ambulance was dispatched to check them out.
