2 Rescued from Disabled Sailboat South of Long Island

On June 8, the Coast Guard responded to a distress call from the 44’ sailing vessel Alien 1, which was disabled approximately 350 miles southeast of Long Island Sound. The Coast Guard Cutter Spencer responded and transferred the 2-person crew of the Alien 1 to the Spencer before towing the disabled boat to port.
