2011 New Hampshire Salt- and Freshwater Fishing Licenses on Sale
December 24, 2010
The New Hampshire Fish & Game Department has announced that the 2011 fishing and hunting licenses are now on sale via the F&G website.
They can also be purchased through certified retailers. Saltwater anglers are reminded that a license to fish in the state’s marine waters (out to 3 miles from shore and around the Isles of Shoals) will be required in 2011. A fee of $16 ($1 agent fee) will be charged for individual anglers age 16 and older participating in recreational saltwater fishing for finfish from coastal and estuarine waters of New Hampshire (both residents and non-residents).
Anyone wishing to fish in New Hampshire’s freshwaters must purchase and additional freshwater license. Anglers fishing aboard a charter or partyboat do not need to purchase a license. Lastly, anyone who has purchased a Massachusetts or Maine saltwater license is exempt.
