2012 Bourne Scallop Fest This Weekend

If you like food, especially scallops, you will want to check out the Bourne, Massachusetts, Scallopfest, held September 21-23, 2012.

Over the 3-day event, 50,000 people are expected visit Buzzards Bay along the banks of the famous Cape Cod Canal and Buzzards Bay Railroad Bridge.

Famous Scallop and Herb-Roasted Chicken Dinners

The focus of the festival is the scallop or herb-roasted chicken dinners. Enjoy your meal and listen to entertainment in the Big Tent or take your meal outside and enjoy the view of the Cape Cod Canal and the famous Railroad Bridge.

The food court will also feature Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Sausages, Chicken Tenders and Fries, Chowder, Lobster Rolls and all types of salads. Dessert items include Strawberry Shortcake, slices of pie or Ice Cream.
