2012 Buzzards Bay Swim to be Held Saturday

The Buzzards Bay Coalition’s 15th annual 1.2-mile open-water swim across outer New Bedford Harbor will be held this Saturday, July 7.
The swim is designed to raise awareness and critically needed funds to improve the health of Buzzards Bay.
More than 300 swimmers of every ability level are expected to participate in the event, which involves crossing from New Bedford to Fort Phoenix in Fairhaven. There will be a Finish Line party on the beach.
