2015 Eagle & Winter Wildlife Cruises on the CT River
November 26, 2014
The eco-tour boat RiverQuest is now booking reservations for its 2015 winter/spring bald eagle and winter wildlife cruises on the lower Connecticut River.
The cruises are offered in conjunction with Audubon EcoTravel Division. They run 2 1/4 hours and depart from Haddam, CT, across the river from the Goodspeed Opera House.
Although the primary mission is to observe migrating and resident bald eagles, other species such as hawks, ducks, loons, grebes and even seals may be seen. An experienced naturalist will discuss eagle biology and ecology, and a large-screen TV will display photographs of the birds and other animals that may be seen on the journey.
RiverQuest has a fully enclosed, heated cabin, but guests are advised to dress warmly because much of the observation will be done on deck.

9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m.
February 13 through March 13
