On sunny summer weekends, Lake Winnipesaukee is packed with boaters enjoying the water. 

The New Hampshire Lakes Association will hosts its annual Lakes Congress on May 29, 2015. During this all-day educational, training, and networking event, lake and other natural resource stewards, lake-management professionals, lake-related businesses, and municipal and political leaders exchange information, ideas and experiences and introduce new approaches to help manage and protect the state’s lakes and their watersheds.

When: Thursday, May 28: 7-8 pm, “Lake Level Management, A Balancing Act”

Spend the evening talking with Jim Gallagher, Chief Water Resource Engineer of the NH Department of Environmental Services, about lake level management during this session hosted by the Lake Winnipesaukee Association in partnership with NH LAKES.

There is no fee for the Thursday evening session, but attendees are asked to pre-register through the Lakes Congress registration system.

Friday, May 29: 8:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Join us for a day of training and networking with fellow lake enthusiasts, presenters, and exhibitors! The opening plenary session will be followed by three sessions. (The conference agenda and session descriptions are provided below.)

Thursday and Friday Lakes Congress registrants are encouraged to stay the night in Meredith. Registrants will receive a special discounted rate to stay at any of the Mills Falls Inns in Meredith on Thursday, May 28.
