3 Belles Marina to Host National Marina Day Open House
April 2, 2012

Three Belles Marina in Niantic, Connecticut, is celebrating National Marina Day with an Open House on June 9, 2012. The goal of National Marina Day is to promote the family-friendly role marinas play in the community and the benefits of a marina lifestyle. Its focus is on safety, education, and environmental sustainability while providing water access to the public.
Members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary will be performing free vessel-safety checks, while Connecticut’s DEEP will present its Boat Safe/Boat Smart program. Save the River, Save the Hills will conduct a membership drive and inform attendees of the efforts being made to protect the Niantic River and Oswegatchie Hills. Regional Hobie Kayak representatives will also be on-hand to give model demos on protected Smith Cove and the nearby Niantic River.
Three Belles is a full-service, family-owned marina offering slips, moorings, fuel, valet and rack storage, a launch ramp, a pool, picnic facilities, a ships store and an onsite deli. To watch a video featuring the marina and a short boat tour of the Niantic River and Niantic
