A Day in the Life of Edgartown’s Harbormaster
July 16, 2014
The Vineyard Gazette recently profiled a day on the job with the harbormaster of Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard, Charlie Blair.
Blair draws from a lifetime of experience on the water. He grew up sailing, splitting his time during the year between Florida and Martha’s Vineyard. As harbormaster, each day is filled with new challenges, from a boat needing a tow to figuring out how to remove a giant dead seal from a local beach.
