Alligator Found in NH River

Police in Newmarket, New Hampshire, pulled an alligator from the Lamprey River Friday night [July 5], according to an article on SeacoastOnline.com.
A woman called police to report seeing an alligator climb out of the river and onto the river bank. Police quickly spotted the alligator and called New Hampshire Fish and Game for assistance. Fish & Game officials were able to subdue the alligator—which was 2′ to 3′ long—with a dog noose.
