Bad Fish Cape Cod & Islands Report: 9.6.12
September 7, 2012
Bad Fish Outfitters of Falmouth, Massachusetts, sends this report for September 6, 2012
Summer may be over, but the fishing is just heating up!
The albies and bonito have begun moving their way into Nantucket and Vineyard Sounds in numbers. We have received good reports of big albies being caught from shore and boat from State Beach to West Chop. Schools of these speedsters have been seen outside of Quicks and Robinsons Holes as well.
The bass bite has been great up in Cape Cod Bay. If you are lucky enough to get live eels, slow trolling or dropping them in 20-30’ of water has produced the best catches.
Yellowfin tuna and wahoo were caught by multiple anglers at the Dump this past Monday.
