A Martha’s Vineyard man was arrested in Falmouth, MA, on Saturday, Oct. 24, for boating while intoxicated and attacking a police officer, according to the Cape Cod Times. Police were summoned to Falmouth Harbor, where Douglas Dexter, 51, was apparently knocking on windows of the Tides Motel and telling guests to leave because he was conducting an investigation.

When police arrived, they saw Dexter trying to leave the dock onboard his boat, with one line still tied to the dock. Dexter was later immobilized with a stun gun after resisting arrest and kicking an officer in the chest.
