Boaters Rescued in Lake Champlain

Members of Coast Guard Station Burlington, Vermont, rescued 3 boaters after their vessel was dismasted on Lake Champlain on Sunday, May 22.
Coast Guard watchstanders responded to a 911-dispatch call concerning the boaters whose vessel became disabled at approximately 4:00 p.m. Two people were ejected from the vessel.
Rescue crews found an adult male and a child clinging to floating objects near the disabled vessel. The boaters were pulled from the water and taken to Station Burlington, where emergency medical services were waiting. All 3 boaters were reported to be in good condition.
