August 11, 2010: According to the WPRI , the body of a missing boater whose 18-foot center console struck a retaining wall near the Braga Bridge in Fall River, Mass, on Sunday night, Aug. 9, has been recovered near the site by state police divers.

The boat crashed into the shore at Heritage State Park in Fall River. The helmsman may have fallen overboard prior to the crash, although witnesses report seeing a person ejected from the boat upon impact with the wall. The victim’s dog was found alive on the boat.
