Body Pulled from Long Island Sound

WestportNow and The Hour reported the body of an 88-year-old North Haven, Connecticut, man was pulled from Long Island Sound on Saturday evening after he was found floating face-down between the docks of the Saugatuck Harbor Yacht Club in Westport. The victim was identified as Richard A. Terry.
Terry’s car was later located in approximately 15 feet of water behind a property adjacent to the club off Duck Pond Road. Investigators say that evidence suggests that Terry, who had a scheduled appointment at the property, may have accidentally driven his car into the water. The vehicle was removed from the water by a wrecker.
