Bristol, RI, Boaters Face Mooring, Dock Fee Hike

EastBayRI.com: On November 2, town officials, members of the harbor department and the harbor commission met to discuss budgeting, hoping to dispel some misperceptions and miscommunication that led to the recent stand-off on the proposed increase to mooring and dock fees.
Many boat owners have expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed mooring and dock fee increase, especially since harbor commission members say the department’s revenues exceed operational expenses.
