The Bristol, RI, Harbormaster’s Office and local Bristol fishermen are teaming up to host the 2nd annual Bristol Harbor Festival and Blessing of the Fleet. The event will kick off at Rockwell Park on Thames St. in downtown Bristol at noon, Saturday, August 15, 2015.

The festival will include a littleneck boil, Blessing of the Fleet, a quahog stuffie competition, children’s activities, live music and a dunk tank.

East Bay Sailing Foundation will be offering free short sailing tours in Club sailboats from 12 Noon to 2:30 on the day of the Harbor Festival and Blessing of the Fleet. The sailboats will be operating from the Rockwell Transient Docks. This will provide a great opportunity for folks who have never sailed to get a 15- to 20-minute taste of this wonderful Bristol Harbor activity. Lifejackets will be furnished and we will be providing seasoned skippers to take interested folks for this wonderful sailing experience. Weather permitting of course.

Tickets for the Littleneck boil are available online.

Live music provided by Colby James, Rundown, Unknown Artist and Andre and Mary Arsenault.
