CG Museum May Move to New London Waterfront

TheDay.com: An announcement could be made soon about the site of a new Coast Guard museum that would “make a huge difference in the city [of New London] and make the downtown area a destination for people from all over the world,” according to the chairman of the museum planning group.
Jimmy Coleman, chairman and president of the National Coast Guard Museum Association, said Thursday [September 13] that the group has narrowed its focus for the museum location on the city’s waterfront.
