Metan Marine made it through the torrential rain showers of Saturday and Sunday before wrapping things up on Monday at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show.

What a whirlwind! The show gave Metan international recognition, with serious potential customers from Australia, Puerto Rico and Italy. Metan was also able to spread the word about its upcoming reality TV show, ‘Walk on Water”, which airs in spring of 2012.

Metan president Mike Borrelli and his wife/advertising director Pamela Borrelli are currently heading back to Massachusetts with the 1971 Whaler Outrage in tow, as Vince Miragliotta, partner and national sales director, pulls the 1968 Sakonnet. Metan is already looking forward to next year’s show, and has reserved the same booth, located at the Bahia Mar entrance, for 2012.

The next show for Metan will be the New England Boat Show in Boston, where the company will display and sell a fully restored Metan classic 1979 Sea Craft powered by a Yanmar diesel engine package. Just wait until you see this boat!
