Chaparral 330 Signature Offers Room to Move
November 17, 2010
Chaparral’s brand-new 330 Signature is designed for comfortable family cruising and entertaining, with a well-thought-out interior layout that improves traffic flow and use of space from bow to stern and belowdecks. The boat sleeps 4 to 6 people comfortably and has a large galley and a molded standup head with shower, sink, and VacuFlush toilet. The cabin features some very clever seating, eating and sleeping arrangements that make the most of available space. Both the forward V-berth and aft cabin berth are the largest in class. Standard items include a 26” flat-screen TV/DVD player, a stereo system with free 6-month subscription to Sirius, removable carpeting, and a CO2 detector. An optional flat-screen TV can be ordered for the aft-cabin entertainment and dining area that also converts to a full-size bed.
On deck, the self-bailing cockpit features wraparound seating to starboard opposite an entertainment center with wet bar, sink and stainless steel refrigerator to port. The transom bench seat folds down to form a big, comfortable sunpad. A transom shower with hot and cold fresh water is standard. A stainless transom gate leads to a wide swim platform with hidden boarding ladder and aft-facing cushioned seat for watching the action.
At the helm, there’s plenty of room for a large flush-mount display. Other standard helm offerings include 2 drink holders, an aluminum dash panel, binnacle-mount throttle and shift, compass, engine-hour meters, mahogany wheel, power steering and a windshield wiper.
