Chatham CG Crews Continue Lifesaving Tradition

On the anniversary of the famed Pendleton rescue, and with a Hollywood movie about the incident hitting theaters, the Cape Cod Times recently profiled current life at the Coast Guard’s Chatham station.
Despite advances in equipment since the rescue, dangers still remain for Coast Guard crews, including frequently rough seas off the Chatham coast.
