Chatham to Vote on Ryder’s Cove Landing Expansion
May 2, 2015
Cape Cod Times reports that on May 11 the voters in Chatham will decide whether they would like to spend $900,000 to remake Ryder’s Cove Landing, adding parking spaces for trailers and vehicles, creating a new exit onto Route 28 that has better sight lines, building bathroom facilities and a park with a walking trail.
“This is a good idea for a lot of reasons,” Selectman Sean Summers was quoted as saying.
Ryder’s Cove Landing provides one of the few deep-water access points on Pleasant Bay for larger vessels.
