Coast Guard Cadets to Train on Morris Yachts Boats

KnoxVillageSoup: The cadets who train at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut, do so in a tradition of service as maritime guardians for the nation.

Now, one of the academy programs deemed essential to the cadets’ advancement will be conducted aboard boats built by Morris Yachts [of Bass Harbor, Maine].

Morris Yachts launched the first of 8 new training vessels for the Coast Guard Academy on May 18.
