Coast Guard Scales Back Woods Hole Station Plans

Cape Cod Times: Coast Guard officials have reduced the scope of their construction in Woods Hole to address concerns from neighbors about the size of a new home for the facility’s key operations.
The demolition of the 99-year-old brick building that backs up to Little Harbor Road and houses the aid-to-navigation and patrol boat teams is still in the works, but the 3-story multimission station building that will go in its place has a reduced footprint from the plans released last year.
