Coast Guard Schedules Concert at Fort Trumbull

TheDay.com: The U.S. Coast Guard Band will perform an outdoor Labor Day Concert at Fort Trumbull State Park on September 4 at 3:00 p.m.
Cmdr. Kenneth Megan leads the band in this end-of-summer celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Coast Guard Barque Eagle. The annual performance of Tchaikovsky’s “1812” Overture, which includes cannonfire provided by The Artillery Company of Newport, Rhode Island, is the highlight of the concert.
