Conn. Boaters Urged to Watch for Drifting Logs
May 27, 2011
Boaters are being urged to use caution and watch for drifting logs and other floating and partially submerged debris while navigating the Connecticut River and other waterways this weekend.
The recent heavy rains have caused lots of logs, branches and other flotsam to enter the river.
Boaters should reduce speed and keep a close watch on the surface.
