Gary “Creekman” Sredzienski will once again brave the icy waters of New England in his 8th winter charity swim to benefit the York Center for Wildlife. The swim begins Sunday, Dec. 13 at 2:00 p.m. as Creekman heads 6 miles in 30-degree waters from the York River to the Atlantic Ocean, arriving on shore at the park across from York Harbor Inn.

Creekman’s goal is to raise $10,000 for the York Center for Wildlife’s work, and sponsors are sought.

Directly after the swim, spectators and supporters are invited to gather at York Harbor Inn with Gary, CFW staff and volunteers, and musical group The Serfs for food, drink, music, and celebration.
