September 9, 2018
A 440-foot Windstar cruise ship Star Pride with 351 people onboard lost power in Buzzards Bay at around 2:00 on Friday afternoon.
The ship was on its way from Maine to New York when it became disabled by a lack of cooling water to the engines, according to a Windstar statement.
The ship regained power after 3 hours, but remained anchored in lower Buzzards Bay until around 8:00 p.m.
