Cruise Ship Tender Runs Aground off Bar Harbor

Portland Press Herald: The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating why a vessel carrying 93 cruise ship passengers ran aground Thursday night [October 4] stranding the passengers on a remote shoal off Bar Harbor [Maine].

Lt. Nick Barrow said the vessel, known as a tender, was transporting passengers from Bar Harbor to the Celebrity Summit, which was anchored offshore.
