CT Rower to Attempt Solo North Atlantic Crossing

The Hour reports on the upcoming attempt to row solo across the North Atlantic by Easton, Connecticut, sailor, paddler and rower John Bauby. If successful, Bauby would be only the 7th solo rower and the first American solo rower to cross the North Atlantic.
Bauby’s vessel, Lia, 24’ long, 6’ wide, and made out of fiberglass, kevlar and wood. It has crossed the North Atlantic twice and the mid-Atlantic once.
