Dead Sea Turtles Being Studied on Cape Cod

The Cape Cod Times reports that scientists at the Marine Research Facility at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution are performing necropsies on dead sea turtles found on Cape Cod beaches to see what might have led to their demise.
The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary’s annual turtle necropsy program uses volunteers to document each of the 200 or so dead sea turtles found along the Cape Cod Bay shoreline this fall and winter.
