In the next episode of New England Boating TV, we trailer the Boston Whaler 250 Outrage north to the crystal-clear waters of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. Our home base is Fay’s Boat Yard in Gilford, where we are well taken care of by GM Michael Bodnar, Jeff Fay and the rest of the crew.
Longtime Lake Winnie boater Jack Irwin conducts a history lesson.
Bodnar even loans us a pair of his personal Hobie Mirage Drive kayaks to play around in, and Jeff Fay shares his remarkable antique marine engine collection on camera.
Other segments include a salmon-fishing expedition with guide Jason Parent, dock-and-dining at the Town Docks in Meredith, a visit with the captain of the Mount Washington, a bit of lake history with Jack Irwin of Irwin Marine, a stop at the New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro and much more.
We won’t ruin any of the surprises by providing details, but you can get some sense of the many things we covered by viewing the accompanying photo gallery.
New England Boating TV, sponsored by GMC and Boston Whaler and their network of New England dealers. This episode airs Monday at 7:00 p.m. on NESN
