Expansion of RI Rowing Club Meets with Opposition

EastBayRI.com reports the East Bay Rowing Club is locked in a debate with a member of the Barrington Town Council who opposes the club’s request to expand the number of boats it’s allowed to store at Walker Farm, on Hundred Acre Cove.

The council member, Ann String, says she is concerned over congestion of the public boat launch. Others are concerned that the number of rowers will impede public usage of Hundred Acre Cove.
