Feds Seek Public Input on Recreational Fisheries Management

Anglers throughout New England are invited to attend a public workshop hosted by NOAA Fisheries Greater Atlantic Region on Nov. 13 to discuss ways to improve the recreational fishery management process in New England.

“We recognize that the current process for setting management measures is not meeting all the needs of the various groups within the recreational community,” reads the announcement from NOAA. “We would like to hear your ideas on how the process of setting seasons, bag limits, and minimum sizes for federally managed recreational fisheries could work better. “
