First Great White of Year Spotted off Orleans

Cape Cod Times: Twitter was seeing white Monday [June 22] after the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy posted a picture of the organization’s first white shark sighting of the season.
Greg Skomal, senior marine fisheries biologist for the state Division of Marine Fisheries, while working with the conservancy, captured footage of the 15’ shark, which was spotted about 100 yards off South Beach in Orleans, Cynthia Wigren, the executive director of the conservancy said.
