Fisherman Dies After Collapse at Sea

CapeCodToday: The United States Coast Guard reports that an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod responded to an emergency call from the fishing vessel Sao Paulo around 5:30 a.m. Monday morning [November 28].

The crew of the Sao Paulo relayed a message from the 81’ fishing vessel Virginia Sands, out of New Bedford, that the 62-year-old captain of the ship had collapsed and was unconscious.
