Jeff Miller at Canal Bait & Tackle has this report for the Cape Cod Canal:

The Canal was very active the day before Hurricane Sandy, with stripers up to 31 pounds being taken.

Sandy seems to have filled the Canal with all many different types of exotic baits, including Atlantic soiree, sea herring, and halfbeaks. Also, the mackerel are pretty heavy at the East End, and you can easily catch them right now. Surprisingly, the water is not that murky at the East End.
