Over 200 truckloads of adult brown and rainbow trout (nearly 380,000 fish) are being distributed throughout the state in preparation for the Opening Day of the 2013 Connecticut trout season. The fish are being released into over 100 lakes and ponds and 200 rivers and streams throughout the state, and stocking efforts will continue through the end of May.
