New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS) has announced a new series of fishing activities for elementary and middle school kids.

The special Holiday Fishing Activities include lure construction and Gyotaku Japanese fish printing for grades 1-4. For grades 5-8, kids can learn to create a Salty Bugger, a Clouser and a Gurgler in a Salt Water Fly Tying class for beginners, or dive into a Minnow Trap Construction and Design class. The Holiday Fishing Activity classes may be taken singularly or as a series of 2.
