Goose Hummock Shop in Orleans, Massachusetts, reports that it has just weighed in the first keeper striped bass of the season. The fish was taken by longtime local angler “Dave”, who has caught stripers in Pleasant Bay every month of the year.
“The holdover stripers are starting to feed in the dark bottomed back bays. Goose customer Dave just weighed in this beauty and we have had credible reports of some small schoolies being caught already,” reads the Goose report.
