The non-profit tournament was, according to a press release, established by fishermen committed to preserving the right to fish and promoting sustainable fishing practices.
- 100% of the collected Calcutta money goes toward pay out
- $20,000 in cash prizes (more to be announced), based on a 25-boat minimum
