The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management‘s (DEM) will hold an introductory workshop on surf-fishing. “Surf Casting: The Basics” will be held Thursday from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Scarborough State Beach in Narragansett.
Families with children older than 8 are encouraged to participate. Space is limited and registration is required.
All materials and equipment are included with the $10 per-person registration fee.
The fee for families with 3 or more participants is $5 per person.
