Cape Cod charter captain Steve Kirk and Dave Schaefer will give a presentation on fly fishing and vacation opportunities in Montana and Idaho at the Concord Rod & Gun Club in Concord, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Schaefer and Kirk will advise on how to combine a family vacation with a world-class fishing experience on the blue-ribbon fly fishing rivers of Montana and Idaho. Enjoy fly fishing while retracing Lewis and Clark’s trek up the Missouri and Jefferson into Idaho, visit Yellowstone National Park, and go horseback riding at a dude ranch—all in one trip.

Captain Kirk will also present highlights of his 2013 fishing adventures in Massachusetts. Kirk will describe when, where, and what was caught, and offer predictions for 2014. Locations include Cape Cod and the Islands, the North Shore, Cape Cod Bay and the Cape Cod Canal. Fishing is more predictable than you might imagine if you know the spawning and migration patterns of the Massachusetts saltwater game fish and bait like herring, squid and sand eels.

The seminar is free and open to the public.
