French Rowers Leave Chatham for France

CapeCodOnline: French rowers Mathieu Bonnier and Bruno Froideval set off on their transatlantic row this morning [June 20] from Chatham to France.

They were towed out past the Chatham break by Ryder’s Cove Boat Yard.

The 2 men have trained and planned for a year and a half for the 70- to 80-day, 3,400-to-3,600-mile journey from Cape Cod to France.
