Future of CT Shellfishing Debated

Connecticut Sea Grant and University of Connecticut Extension recently held the second of three public meetings seeking input from Connecticut’s shellfishing stakeholders before putting together a long-term management plan, according to an article on NHRegister.com.

Officials say this process will result in the first written shellfish management plan in the state in roughly 35 years.
