Grady’s Fisherman 23 Lives Up to Its Name
June 16, 2010
The name Fisherman defines Grady-White’s new 23-foot center console well, but only partially. Savvy owners who read the standard equipment and options lists carefully will find a stack of family-oriented features to go with Grady’s usual complement of valuable fishing features.
Think standup head in the console, lots of seating, a forward sunpad, and plenty of cooler space for picnics, combined with ample rod storage, a leaning post/tackle center (that can also be fitted with a “Summer Galley” grill), an optional 35-gallon livewell and helm space for a large, flush-mounted electronics display. The logical power choice is Yamaha’s already-classic F250, which delivers efficient cruising speeds in the upper 20s and lower 30s on a soft-riding, dry SeaV2 hull form.
