Grundens Gear Bags are Rugged, Waterproof
July 27, 2011
Grundens USA has added 2 new products to its recently launched Gage Technical Gear Line—the Shackelton Duffel and Rumrunner Backpack. These rugged, waterproof bags are built to the same tough standards that have made Grundens the choice of professional mariners worldwide.
Crafted from 500 Denier PVC Tarpaulin Fabric with 100-percent RF welded seams and roll-top closures, these packs are designed to keep clothing, electronics and other gear dry and protected in extreme conditions.
With its 105-liter capacity, the Shackelton Duffel can hold a wide variety of items, such as all the clothes you’ll need for a multi-day cruise. With its tri-fold roll-top closure to ensure a waterproof seal, the Shackelton Duffel is also a great “dry bag” for whitewater rafting adventures. The Shackelton Duffel includes sturdy padded backpack straps that can be stored in a zippered compartment in the bag’s bottom panel when not in use. With its heavy-duty carrying straps and backpack option, this pack is a versatile way to transport and protect delicate equipment like cameras, GPS units, marine electronics and more.
The new 30-liter Gage Rumrunner Backpack is the perfect size for transporting clothing and gear on your back. Like the Gage duffel, the Rumrunner Backpack features a roll-top closure for a waterproof seal. This pack features a moisture wicking back panel for increased comfort during long treks and strenuous activities. In addition to its large main compartment, the Rumrunner features a convenient front mesh pocket with retention straps, 2 water bottle pockets and neoprene shoulder strap pockets.
