Hampton, NH Pond May Vanish with Dam

Seacoast Online reports that the fate of the Mill Pond Dam, and Mill Pond itself, in Hampton, NH, will be decided on March 10, 2015.

Some 200 registered voters are petitioning the town to vote to repair and/or rebuild the Grist Mill Dam, also known as the Mill Pond Dam, a potentially $650,000 project.

If the dam is decommissioned, Mill Pond will revert to a wetland.
