Herreshoff Museum Introduces After School Program

High school students can learn to varnish, paint, and otherwise maintain classic sailboats designed and built in Bristol, Rhode Island, at the Herreshoff Marine Museum. Technology, math, science, and engineering are used, but the emphasis is on good, clean fun. Graduates get to sail the boats, and may enter the museum’s instructor training program.

WHERE: Herreshoff Marine Museum Boat Shop, Bristol, Rhode Island

WHEN: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from  January 2 to March 14, 2013

COST: Free (donations welcome)
